The
hotel Park is a lovely hotel with a friendly customer service,
situating in a beautiful park in the centre of Tartu. The hotel
building, first opened in 1940 and fully renovated in 2000, has been
designed by Arnold Matteus, a former renowned city architect of Tartu.
In 1964, Urho Kaleva Kekkonen, the President of the Republic of
Finland, stayed at the hotel. The room in which he stayed bares his
name at the moment. All major spots of entertainment and culture,
sights, banks and shops are within the distance of 500 metres.
